KORTE ONDERBREKING ANALOGE ZOMER TV UITZENDINGEN?
Volgens SATCO DX zal tussen 16 en 19 september o.a. via Transponder
58 op de ASTRA 1D Pay Per View uitzendingen te zien zijn tussen 21:00 en
06:00 uur van SKY Box Office ter gelegenheid van het Montserrat Aid Concert.
Dit zou betekenen dat de analoge uitzendingen van Zomer TV in die periode
komen te vervallen. Zomer TV is dan uitsluitend digitaal te ontvangen.
EO MEER DAN 600.000 LEDEN
De EO heeft bekend gemaakt dat de omroep het aantal van
600.000 leden gepasseerd heeft. De EO heeft bekend gemaakt
definitief te kiezen voor het publieke bestel. De EO vindt
dat zij zich binnen het publieke bestel goed dient te profileren,
en vindt dat daarbinnen haar boodschap het beste uitgedragen kan
worden.
ENDEMOL BEGINT THEATERBLAD
Joop van den Ende, onderdeel van Endemol, gaat een blad
over theater en shows uitgeven onder de titel Entertainment Hot
Spots (EHS). Het blad zal vier keer per jaar verschijnen en aan klanten
van de Reserveringslijn van Joop van den Ende Producties toegestuurd.
INTERNET NIEUWS:
FLEVONET TOCH GERED VAN ONDERGANG
FlevoNet heeft op het allerlaatste moment, voordat PTT Telecom
dreigde FlevoNet af te sluiten, toch nog een overeenkomst
weten af te sluiten met de grootste schuldeiser PTT Telecom.
De Provincie Flevoland is daar tevens bij betrokken.
Daarmee lijkt FlevoNet vooralsnog gered van de ondergang, en
kunnen de inwoners in FlevoNet gratis blijven Internetten.

DVD NIEUWS:
PHILIPS STELT INTRODUCTIE DVD SPELER UIT
De introductie van de Philips DVD Speler, die dit
najaar zou plaatsvinden is uitgesteld naar februari 1998.
Dit is gebeurd na overleg met de grote filmmaatschappijen,
die dit najaar geen kans zagen voldoende filmtitels beschikbaar
te hebben. Rond februari 1998 zal dit wel het geval zijn.
Zoals het er naar uitziet zullen Sony, Philips en de overige
electronicafabrikanten hun DVD Spelers ongeveer tegelijkertijd
in Europa introduceren.
