Q: Can someone confirm what Galaxy is? Is it a DTH-channel package similar
to Sky in the UK?

Galaxy is a Australian Pay-TV-Operator, which began operation in January 95.
Initially transmitting programs by microwave, today Galaxy transmitts his
channels via satellite in MPEG-II. Galaxy merged with the Foxtel Cable TV
company, so you can get them by cable or direct via satellite. The
MPEG-receivers are made by PACE.
The connevtion fee is AUS-$ 19,95 and the monthly fee AUS-$ 39,95 for the
following package:
Nickelodeon, Arena, TV-1,Encore, Showtime, The Value Channel, red. Premier
Sports, Discovery, World movies and BBC-WS.
