MIR TV coverage Cosmos 2054

Several readers asked about the condition of the russian tracking satellite
at 16° west. TV-coverage from MIR (10.835 GHz) ceased months ago.

Dr.Dish:
We just received the news from Eduard Bach from Danmark, that Loutch 1
(234426 / 1994-082A) moves from 95.2°E to 16°W to replace the old Cosmos
2054. At this moment Loutch-1 passes the 70°E position.
hopefully we will get back all this nice live-pictures from MIR.
Thanks, Eduard, for the fast news-delivery.
