Re: Audio Echostart LT-8700
Rcently I bought a Echostar LT-9700 with software-version 4.0. Unfortunatly
got this receiver - as you reported in earlier tests - still the old audio
problem: disturbing noise by high voices. Is there any cure?

Dr.Dish:
If you got recently a LT 8700 and the unit was been declared as new by the
dealer, you should return the receiver. The software version is new, but
says nothing about the age of the receiver. All LT 8700´s which are on sale
now are cured and have proper audio. Have a look on the front panel for the
"Panada"-label. If you can´t find it, the receiver is old. Changes could be
made by Echostar. The adress of the correct adress you find on the last page
of the user-manual.
Wurde der LT 8700 kuerzlich erworben und wurde vom Haendler als neues Modell
beteichnet, dann wuerde ich ihn zurueckgeben. Die angebene Software is neu,
doch das sagt nichts ueber das Alter des Receivers aus. Wenn auf der
Vorderseite das "Panda"-Teichen zu finden ist, sollte er ein neues Modell
sein. Wenn nicht, dann kann Echostar in Almelo/NL bestimmt helfen. Die
Adresse steht auf der letzten Seite der Bedienungsanleitung.
