Hitachi To Begin Sales Of DirecTV Receiver Tokyo, Japan, 19 February 1998 (TS-ASIA) -- Hitachi Ltd. says it will begin selling a DirecTV Japan receiver and dish set from April 10. The unit will be the second available, after Matsushita's TU-DSD20ST, which has been available since DirecTV launched. The CS-DD80S carries a recommended retail price of 66,000 yen. Hitachi will produce 15,000 units per month.
