THE LINES IN THIS 97.02.12 REPORT:

EXPRESS 6, 80 East, http://www.satcodx.com/e6.html

Transponder 14, 3.983 GHz, Rc, was activated early morning, however this
time on a different beam (available are zone or spotbeam for this
transponder).
The result was a quite weak PAL transmission of a colorbar test card
with a subcarrier on 6.60 MHz.

PANAMSAT 4, 68.5 East, http://www.satcodx.com/pas4.html

NHK Tokyo on 12.604 GHZ, V, scrambles lately only the, English spoken,
business news bulletins in NTSC. All parts in Japanese remain in the
clear.

INTELSAT 703, 57 East, http://www.satcodx.com/i703.html

Khabar TV, 11.650 GHz, H, shows now a permanent logo in the top right of
the screen, consisting of the (kyrillic spelled) name Khabar in yellow,
with a fancieng of the first letter "Kh".

EUTELSAT II-f2, 10 East, http://www.satcodx.com/e2f2.html

RTP Internacional finally ceased completely on transponder 39, 11.659
GHz, V. The dia, indicating the move of the channel to the first
Eutelsat Hot Bird position, 13 East, was removed today.

PANAMSAT 3-R, 43 West, http://www.satcodx.com/pas3r.html

Early morning NHK New York transmitted ABC-News in NTSC on 12.575 GHz,
V, with subcarriers on 6.20 and 6.80 MHz.

Irish band U2 had a press conference in a K-Mart store, in order to
present their latest release "POP", transmitted on transponder 7EK,
12.701 GHz, H, in PAL with a subcvarrier on 6.60 MHz.

At the same time, about 17:30 CET, a transmission of Television
SATELITAL, in Spanish, in preparation of a soccer match in NTSC on
12.699 GHz, V, with subcarriers on 6.20 and 6.80 MHz.
