After testing at 87.5 deg East the satellite is now moving to its final
position and last located at 77.40 East by J.P. Donnio, Tag's

ISkyB promotions can be observed on the following seven transponder
frequencies: 12.264, 12.326, 12.386, 12.451 GHz, Vertical, 12.356,
12.416, and 12,481 GHz, Horizontal, in MPEG-2, with SR 20000 and FEC 
1/2, on the Indian Ku-Spotbeam.

The planned program line-up includes ESPN, Star Sports, Sky Events, Sky
Drama, Sky Premiere Movies, Hallmark Entertainment, The Computer
Channel, CNBC, NBC Asia, Bloomberg Tv, Channel V, Sun TV, Discovery
Channel, Star World, Sun Music, Sun Movies, Granada TV, and Star Plus
International. No services have started yet.

follows:
0078 - 0082: CFI
00DC - 00E6: CFI Pro 1 (four hours only) & MCM  (encrypted)
0140 - 014A: Route 66 feeds

The last launched Intelsat is now at 62 degrees East, after beeing

Star Plus International (Orbit Channel 23) changed its name to Star
World a while ago, as it did recently also on Asiasat 1 at 105 East.
With these changes, Star Select announced on-screen, the increase of the
subscription price from $20 to $26 per month.

Flash TV (Turkey) has started on transponder 8L, 11.129 GHz, V, in
MPEG-2 using a SR of 4268, FEC 3/4, VPID 0021, APID 0022.

Despite the previous announcement to move May 21st to Asiasat 2 on 100.5
East, BAZTAB could still be observed on both transponder 17 and 19,
4.085 and 4.126 GHz, Rc, resp.

Transmissions on the Asiasat 2 could have been seen on transponder 2B,
3.680 GHz, H, unfortunately I do not have a direct sight onto this
satellite.

EUTELSAT II-F3, 16 East, http://www.satcodx.com/e2f3.html

Italian "Magic TV" has started on 12.572 GHz, H, MPEG-2, Free-To-Air, SR
11264, FEC 3/4, VPID 05B4, APID 058C, 19:00-09:30 CEST.

Turkish broadcaster Klas FM has replaced Number One FM on 12.599 GHz, V,
on APID 0022 and Number One FM has moved to APID 0023.

Fashion TV, a thematic french channel devoted exclusivly to "fashion and
haute couture" on transponder 5, 11.308 GHz, V, started officially on 14
May, and is a Free-To-Air channel with SR 27500, FEC 3/4, VPID 0123,
APID 0133.

Promotional feeds for ANN (Arabic News Network), have replaced the
AB-SAT promotional channel on transponder 52, 11.766 GHz, H, in PAL,
Free-To-Air, with an audio subcarrier on 6.60 MHz.
Neither an official startdate nor the origine of the channel was
disclosed yet.

The start of ANN Promo may explain why this transponder has been
switched over to the widebeam, a month ago!

An MPEG2 signal could be observed on 11.090 GHz, V, with unknown
parameters. No video or audio could be detected.

INTELSAT 601, 27.5 West, http://www.satcodx.com/i601.html

CFI on 3.766 GHz, Rc, will switch to MPEG-2 and will be encrypted in
Viaccess from June 1st. The same encryption system is used for the "Club
601" package on 3.650 GHz, Rc.

Telstar 5 will be launched with a Proton on May 24rd, 20:00-20:10 CEST.
Live coverage for the USA will be broadcast on Telstar 4, 3.720 GHz, V.
As these pictures will have to be transmitted to the T4, do check for
east and westwards feeds.
