DirecTV will cut the price of its entry-level receiver dish to $199 on
Monday to counter EchoStar's DISH Network. Just as Echostar, subscribers will
have to buy a package of programming ($360). AT&T Corp., minority owner of
DirecTV, will offer the $199 price for the dish but will offer the programming
for $155 to members of its True Rewards program.
