PLUG PULLED ON SKY SCOTTISH
Bosses yesterday pulled the plug on the Sky Scottish satellite TV service.
Launched by the Scottish Media Group and BSkyB in 1996, it is losing money
and will close on May 31.
Programmes have had little impact on audiences, with only a few thousand
watching many shows.
Only the Ibrox and Celtic Park fanzine programmes managed to reach more than
10,000 viewers.
Donald Emslie, managing director of SMG's broadcasting division, said +ACI-Sky
Scottish has been a valuable learnig experience
