---------- Sky and Videocrypt completely hacked!
There is very big trouble for Sky Television looming just over the
horizon. Pirates have created the ultimate Videocrypt hack - a new
decoder which can decode all videocrypt signals, whether soft, hard or
PPV, and without the need of a card. It directly unscrambles the
encrypted video and is immune to ECMs (code upgrades). The new machine
is just coming out of development and is not yet available to the UK
market, but will almost certainly be outlawed alsmot immediately. This
poses a threat to Sky's domination of the satellite market which has
mainly relied on subscriptions. The decoder, if it is released, will
most likely be VERY expensive indeed. More info on this can be found at
