---------- Eutelsat W1 caught in fire!
 The launch of Eutelsat's new satellite, W1, planned to replace Eutelsat
II-F2 at 10°E, will have to be postponed due to a fire which broke out
and severely damaged the satellite itself, forcing the company to scrap
it. There is currently no new launch date planned nor a replacement
satellite, though it is possible Eutelsat will use W2, which was to
replace Eutelsat II-F3, to take over at 10°E.
