SATCO DX Satellite Chart - Updates 7-13 October

It has been a rather quiet week compared to the last one.


--- EUROPE:
ARTE started on Eutelsat II f1: 11,055 H on 8 Oct.

Med TV and VT 4 are in MPEG-2 on Kopernikus 2: 12,506/12,514 V

TRT 2/TV Gap has ceased on Turksat 1C: 11,592 H (Turkish beam)

United Artist and Multichoice Nordic packages added
on Intelsat 601: 11,018 H & 11,506 H, MPEG

ARD Plus is testing on Astra 1F: 12,324 V (tp 96), MPEG-2

Bloomberg Radio has started on Astra 1B: 11,671 H (tp 31), 7,38 MHz

--- MIDDLE EAST:
MBC on Arabsat 2A moved from 12,735 V to 4,098 L on 8 Oct.

Nile TV International started on Arabsat 2A: 3,802 R on 9 Oct.

Foreign Channel, Libya ceased on Eutelsat II f3: 11,080 H on 10 Oct.
SRT (Syria) started on Arabsat 2A: 3,999 L on 10 Oct.

There is now an Al-Jazeera (JSC) test card on Eutelsat II f3: 11,080 H
and Arabsat 2A: 12,521 H. (Al-Jazeera is Algeria in Arabic)


--- AFRICA:
Sudan TV left Intelsat 515: 3,740 R on 12 Oct.


--- ASIA:
NHK is available on PAS 4: 12,604 V

Logotypes added for all channels in the PerfecTV package on JCSAT 3


--- NORTH AMERICA:
E! Entertainment TV, Mundo Ole and CAPT have started
in the DirecTV package on Galaxy 3R

--- LAUNCHES:
TDF 1 has left 18.8 West and is probably lost!

Hot Bird 2 will be launched with Atlas on 13 Nov.,
