--- Superbird B1 at 162E:  http://www.satcodx.com/sbb1.shtml
CSN 1 Movie Channel left 12,410 V (NTSC/Skyport) on 31 December.


--- PAS 4 at 68.5E:  http://www.satcodx.com/pas4.shtml
AstraPlus has started on 12,518 V, PAL/clear.


--- Arabsat 2A at 26E:  http://www.satcodx.com/arab2a.shtml
Ajman TV has replaced Abu Dhabi TV on 3,898 L, PAL, 6,60 MHz,
medium power beam.


--- Astra 1F at 19.2E:  http://www.satcodx.com/astra1f.shtml
Shopping TV is back on 12,382 H, MPEG-2/clear.

Travel and TW 1 have both left 12,168 V (MPEG-2) and are
now only on Astra 1G.

A new package has started on Astra 1G: 12,670 V, MPEG-2/clear,
SR 22000, FEC 5/6, line-up: Cartoon Network, CNN International
and TNT.

Shopping TV is back on 11,308 H, MPEG-2/clear.


--- Intelsat 605 at 27.5W:  http://www.satcodx.com/i605.shtml
DR 1 is back on 11,494 H, MPEG-2/clear, SR 4340, FEC 7/8.

On 16 January, TPA (Angola) moved back to 27.5 West, now on
3,799 L, PAL, South East beam.

TPA (Angola) has left 3,970 L and moved to Intelsat 605.

There is a package on 3,883 V in MPEG-2/clear, SR 14000, FEC 3/4,
line-up: El Canal de la Mujer, Fashion TV, Bravo

In December, TVE (Porto Alegre, Brazil) started on 11,186 H,
MPEG-2/clear, SR 4285, FEC 3/4.


--- Galaxy 7 at 91W:  http://www.satcodx.com/g7.shtml
FX West on 3,800 H (G7-05) has switched to MPEG-2/clear,
SR 27500, FEC 3/4. This package also has FX East and FX Movies.

The launch of Brasilsat B3 with Ariane V105 has been postponed a
few times, next attempt: 2 February at 23:29 UTC.


--- Internal news:
* All TV logotypes have been removed from all the charts!
  The main reasons are to provide space for other future features
  and speed up download time.

* All external links are now opened in separate windows, except for
  the footprints on the Satellite Launches chart.

* There were some nice monthly visitor records during January for the
  three regional chart indexes:  (previous records in parenthesis)
  Europe.:  104.913  (87.850)  +19.5%
  America:   15.325  (13.827)  +10.8%
  Asia...:   11.765  (10.013)  +17.5%
