MCDONNELL DOUGLAS DELTA II LAUNCH TO BE RESCHEDULED 

    HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif., May 21 /PRNewswire/ -- The Delta II launch
of the Galaxy(R) IX satellite for Hughes Communications, Inc. has been
rescheduled for Thursday, May 23 from Cape Canaveral Air Station (CCAS),
Fla.  The launch has been delayed in order to replace the main engine
pitch actuator.  The actuator positions the main engine for steering
during flight.   The new launch window opens at 8:35 p.m. and closes at
9:36 p.m. EDT.

    LIVE VIDEO FEED

    Live video feed will be available on Brazilsat A-1, transponder 4.
Coverage will begin at 7:30 p.m. and end at 10:30 p.m. EDT.
