TBS/Time Warner Merger Cleared - CNNfn
  ATLANTA, Georgia, USA, 96/07/17 (TS) -- CNNfn is reporting that Time
Warner and Turner Broadcasting System (TBS) have negotiated clearance for
thier merger. An announcement is expected shortly. If confirmed the world's
largest media conglomerate will be created eclipsing even the Capital
Cities/ABC deal with Disney.

  As the new broke CNN, CNN International, Headline News and CNN Airport
Network all broke into prgramming to carry CNNfn news. All channels are
owned by TBS.
