Murdoch To Become Largest US Station Owner
  SAN FRANCISCO, California, USA, 96/09/29 (SHOPTALK) -- News Corp.
confirmed Wednesday that it has signed definitive agreement to purchase the
remaining 80 percent of New World Communications Groups Inc. that it doesn't
already own.

  The remaining shares will be purchased for $3 billion, a source close to
the company said Thursday.  Following the close of the transaction, Rupert
Murdoch's News Corp. will become the biggest US television station owner.
