First Iridium Launch Wednesday
  VANDENBURG AIR FORCE BASE, USA, 97/01/06 (TS) -- The first batch of
Motorola's planned 66 Iridium satellites will take to the skies this
Wednesday, barring any last minute problems. A Delta II rocket is scheduled
to carry three satellites into orbit from Vandenberg AFB's Space Launch
Complex 2-West. The launch window begins at 0535 PST and continues until
0625 PST (1435-1525 UTC). For the latest information you can call the
