Launch Date: 19 February 1986.
Orbit type: Circular, inclination 51.6 degrees, altitude 400 km.
Frequencies: 145.55 and 145.85 MHz have been reported for both FM voice
and FM AFSK packet.
Notes: MIR ("Peace" in Russian) is the Russian (formerly Soviet Union)
space station. Replaced the Salyut 7 space station, which was launched 19
April 1982. Many of the cosmonaut occupants are hams, generally operating with
callsigns such as U0MIR, or more recently, R0MIR.
