EBU goes didgital?

In your last show of drdish-tv you announced the closure of SiS (Sound in
Sync) of the EBU-signals via Eutelsat IIF4. Does this mean, everthing will
be in ETSI and not receivable by our normal digital receivers?
N. Liebherr, D-Nuertingen

Dr.Dish:
No, ETSI is not a worldstandard. Future standard for EBU will be MPEG-2
4:2:2, also not receivable by your DVB-receiver.
The only availbale receiver I know of is the ALTEIA from
Standard-Communications. Before you start to make further inquiries, have a
some talks with your banker, because you will need some more cash, then
usually neede for buying satellite equipment.
