E! WEST COAST FEED IN POWER VU THIS MONTH.

e! Enterntainment Television is launching this mont a West Coast feed (
USA) bit It will not be available to C band or DBS dish owners. E! will
use Scientific Atlanta PowerVu digital compression system, not
compatible with 4DTV receivers, Digicipher 1 or 2 , etc made by Next
Level Systems ( former General Instrument)

At this time, no DBS provider had agreed to carry the feed so...still
unknown who would be the firt one to carry the signal.

The specs at this time are:

Launching date: September 29th.
Satellite : Satcom C3 transponder 23.
System: PowerVu ( MPEG-2 compatible)
