LIST: Movies in original language on German/Italian satellite tv (09/06-09/13)


Hi everybody,

to comply with a request I start with this list to include also SOME
of the programme of DW-tv (DW = Deutsche Welle = German [Radio] Wave).
They broadcast in German, Spanish and English, not simultaneously
but alternating. They have a lot of regular news, which I won't
include and they have a lot of repeats of their programmes, which
I also won't mention. So far I'll only include non-regular reports
and only those in English. If there is a request for any further
of their programme, just let me know and I'll consider it. You find
a complete and very detailed schedule of their programme for weeks
ahead at http://www-dw.gmd.de, but it can only be viewed with a
very new browser (although there is a trick to access it also with
an older or text only browser - just write me if you want to know
about it).

- Because there are still four non-crypted music channels on
  Eutelsat, I don't include broadcastings of video clips, but I
  do include rock concerts, jazz and classical music. If anyone
  is interested in video clips or any other kind of music, please
  tell me by e-mail.

- A note about 'arte': English movies sometimes have German
  subtitles on the Astra transponder and French subtitles on the
  Eutelsat transponder or are only French dubbed on the Eutelsat
  transponder or are only German dubbed on the Astra transponder
  and might be in the original version on Kopernikus 3, 7.02 MHz,
  or on Astra, 7.38 MHz.
