Manzox Launches On DirecTV Japan

Manzox Channel, a pay per-day adult channel, launched over the weekend on
channel 922. Cost of a day's viewing, which runs for 24 hours from 7am, is
700 yen. This compares to 500 yen per movie on DirecTV Japan's PPV adult
channels and 3,000 yen per month for the Playboy Channel and Ruby Channel.
The network was due to begin broadcasting on March 1 and started late for
unknown reasons.

Among the new channels scheduled for broadcast from April 1, promos can now
be seen for BET on Jazz (ch 331), M-BROS (ch 334) and MoMo Channel (ch
281). More test broadcasts are expected over the weekend in preparation for
the launch on Wednesday next week.
