My apologies to all readers and everybody who did not get an answer in

Please re-send all urgent messages, I'm sorry for the inconvenience, but
it was totally out of my hands. Here some news and the older messages:

TURKSAT 1C, 42 East, SATCO-DX: http://www.satcodx.com/t1c.html
----------
Txpr 12, 10.975 GHz, H, was on 10/12 finally switched off after a week
of testing, with txm of TRT International.
Yesterday the txpr was used as for feeds, with a sound carrrier on 6.60
MHz. Prior and after use a colorbar test card has been shown.

ARABSAT 2A, 26 East, SATCO-DX: http://www.satcodx.com/a2a.html
----------
Despise reported sights of STAR TV PRIME SPORTS on 12.644 GHz, nothing
else could be seen there as the usual txm of KSC Kuwait.

The C-Band txm on txpr 21, 4.167 GHZ, Rc, of Kuwait TV include now
regularely exerpts from the KTV 2 and KTV 3 channels.

During the afternoon of 11/12 the txpr 5, 3.802, Rc, of Egyptian
channel Nile TV was switched of. The evening broadcasts commenced as
usual. The txm on Eutelsat II-f3, 16 East, has not been disrupted.

A new record on the afternoon of 11/12, from 28 active txpr on this
satellite, eleven have been showing the same soccer match from the UAE,
live, a game of the 11th Asia Cup series.

The txpr 14, 3.999 GHz, Lc, used by Syrian TV was switched off this
morning for testing, as was the Ku Band txpr 4, also Syria, earlier this
week.

HOT BIRD 2, 13.5 East, SATCO-DX: http://www.satcodx.com/hb2.html
----------
After a couple of days with little testing, most probably due to the
passing of the 19.2 East position with the Astra satellites, Eutelsat's
Hot Bird 2 could be observed since 11/12 around 14 East with a series of
strong txpr tests. Observed from Cairo especcially the wide beam test on
txpr 68 12.072 Ghz, V, and txpr 69 12.092 GHz, H, which both are the
txpr using the highest frequency on their respective polarization.
Further extensive testing could be seen today, when the satellite was
moved close to his final position on 13 East.

HOT BIRD 1, 13 East, SATCO-DX: http://www.satcodx.com/hotbird.html
----------
The MPEG txm tests of Worldnet on 11.422 GHz, V, could not be received
by me in Cairo. I suspect a low power output as almost no signal
strength was recognizable.

EUTELSAT II-f2, 10 East, SATCO-DX: http://www.satcodx.com/e2f2.html
--------------
This afternoon several test on France Telecom txpr 22, 11.163 GHz, H,
could be observed, whereby frequently an unmodulated beam was txm, with
strangely, still a test tone on 6.60 MHz. The regular "Mulhouse" test
card was, at times, replaced with the colorbar test card "SERTE PARIS".

Bloomberg Télévision on txpr 37, 11.575 GHz, V, changed now also their
screen layout, as previous reported for the Asian version in the
Showtime package on PAS 4. The same new layout can also be seen as part
of the Worldnet txms on various satellites.

AMOS 1, 4 West, SATCO-DX: http://www.satcodx.com/amos1.html
------
Now almost becoming regular: txpr 6U, 11.653 GHz, V, was activated again
with a full power empty carrier without a sound carrier. This happens
now since four weeks every Thursday afternoon ???

INTELSAT 705, 18 West, SATCO-DX: http://www.satcodx.com/i705.html
------------
On feed txpr 38a, 4.166 GHz, Rc, regular txm of the Maghreb Prayers (in
the late afternoon for non Moslems) from Mecca can be seen in a
acceptable quality. Sound carrier on 6.60 MHz.

Do not expect the world, it is just an announcement for the full blown
pages to be accessible in about a week time. These pages are made
available with the help of Europe's satellite magazine TELE-satellit,
SATCO-DX and TBS-Internet. Thanks to them all!
