Yesterdays announced cease of TRT Int on txpr 12, 10.975 GHz, H, took
place today. The txpr is however not switched off and produces now a non
modulated, low-power carrier.

The txm on txpr 15, 3.979 GHz, Rc, were continued during daytime, after
one day rest yesterday. Various contents were txm, from early morning
cartoons to Koran discussions late afternoon. An on-screen logo was not
available. A sound carrier was available on 6.60 MHz.

Abu Dhabi TV's test txms on both frequencies 4.085 Ghz, Rc and 4.072
GHz, Rc, and the color bar test card on 4.094 GHz, Rc, have ceased.
Very weak MBC pictures still visible on 4.094 GHz are cross-overs from
the Lc polarization side, where MBC is regularely txm.

Syria TV on txpr 4, 12.578 GHz, did not carry any test card during the
morning hours, later at programm start everything was normal. The test
card on the C-Band txpr was 14, 3.999 GHz, was always available.

Turkish channel NTV on txpr 20L, 10.987 Ghz, H, has increased its home
made programming content. Less videos are shown and regular news
relaeses are broadcast.

The IBA CNCT CH1 (IBA Jerusalem) on txpr 4L, 11.468 GHz, V, is now
regular showing it's new test card (as reproted on 05/12/96). Txm of the
IBA Channel 1 content is irregular, no txm schedule could be detected
yet. Presently the Channel 1 TV sound is txm mixed with a test tone on
6.60 MHz, with the test card.

SAT MidEast Intern

On Tuesday 10 December and Wednesday 11 December, my Internet provider
will switch off all servers, due to a general power supply maintenance
in his building. 
Therefore please refrain from sending E-Mails during this period, as
they will be not receivable. In the evening time everything should be
normal. Let's hope for the best.
