THE HEADLINES IN THIS EXTRA ISSUE:

Unexpected soon two Arabic channels appeared early morning on the the
Hot Bird 2.

They are EDTV Dubai on txpr 51, 11.747 GHz, H, analogue, PAL, WIDEbeam,
and ART (Europa/Africa version) on txpr 65, 12.015 GHz, H, analogue,
PAL, WIDEbeam.

Both channels have main sound carriers on 6.60 Mhz and EDTV Dubai
features Radio Dubai on 7.02 MHz.

The quality is as expected superb. EDTV Dubai runs with lower
audio-levels as the ART.

The Hot Bird 2 satellite itself is currently still measurable slightly
away from the 13 East position. I located him at 12.7 degrees East.
