NTSC.
D-Box testing on Creta
----------------------
Nicholas Dandalis on Creta submitted following report:
After testing a D-Box on 13 and 19 degrees east, the results are as
follows:
With a 1.2M dish and universal LNB, I managed to lock in practically all
packages at 13 degrees. Although the Hot Bird 2 superbeam was extremely
borderline, quite a bit of digital noise, but still locked on.
On Astra with my 3M dish, Seavey feedhorn and Gardiner 0.6 enhanced
triple band LNB, I successfully locked in Multichoice, Canal Satellite,
ARD/ZDF and DF1. Upon access of DF1, a software upgrade was thrown at
us but was rejected by the
D-Box, probably due to corruption in the weak signal path.
Best regards,
Henk C. Room / Sat-MidEast / Cairo - Egypt
