SRT (Syria) started on Arabsat 2A: 12,578 V on 27 Sept.
LBC Sat promos started on Arabsat 2A: 3,741 L on 28 Sept.
Future TV test card on Arabsat 2A: 3,864 L


--- AFRICA:
BOP-TV 1 on Intelsat 602: 4,055 L


--- ASIA:
HSTV Channel 3, MCOT Channel 9 and BBC World on Intelsat 703, NE zone
Musicam radio channels on Intelsat 703: 11,600 V, MPEG-1

Prime Sports/Star TV/Channel V have ceased on Palapa C2: 4,180 V
RTR and MIR on Intelsat 604 in MPEG-2
Minor updates on several Gorizont satellites

The Golf Channel is now included in the dig package on PAS 2: 3,901 H


--- NORTH AMERICA:
GE 1 has started testing at 103W, both C and Ku tps

Fantasy Café has started on Telstar 402R: 3,940 H (T4-12)
Flix has replaced Showtime on Satcom C4: 4,140 V (C4-22)

--- SOUTH AMERICA:
MTV Latino on PAS 3R: 3,837 V, Digicipher
A digital package on PAS 3R: 3,846 H, PowerVu


--- LAUNCHES:
An Express satellited was successfully launched on 26 Sept.
It might be Express 6, which is supposed to be located at 80E

TDF 1 has left 18.8W, is moving westwards

Measat 2 and Arabsat 2B will launch with Ariane on 13 Nov.,
was earlier predicted for 7 Nov.

GALS R12 will launch in 3rd/4th quarter of 1997 with Proton


--- NEW FOOTPRINTS:
Turksat 1B, Telecom 2A/2B/2C/2D, Optus B1/B3, Arabsat 1DR, Hispasat 1A/1B,
Intelsat 705, Thor, TV-Sat 2, Sirius 1, Tele-X, Eutelsat II f2/f3 and
Astra 1A/1B/1C/1D/1E/1F


--- SATTRACKER:
It's now also available for these satellites:
TDF 1, TDF 2, Telecom 2D, PAS 3R and GE 1.
Please note that the SatTracker location data for Turksat 1C
is currently wrong! The correct position is 42,0E
