SATCO DX Satellite Chart - Updates 21-27 October

--- EUROPE:
Sci-Fi Channel has started on TV-Sat 2: 12,054 L, D2-MAC, clear
Satel on Eutelsat II f2 changed name to NTV
SNAI TV on Eutelsat II f2: 11,163 H is back with a teletext service
Footprint for Eutelsat II f4 M: 11 GHz band added
VRT (BPT) has started on Gorizont 26: 3,725 R
(source not yet confirmed)
The Irdeto Network package on Intelat 601
has moved from 11,135 H to 10,973 H

TRT 3 and TRT 4 have left the European beam
TRT 1, 2, 3 and 4 are now on the Turkish beam
New chnanels on Arabsat 2A: (start date)
Oman TV on 4,140 L (22 Oct.)
KTS (Kuwait) on 4,167 R (23 Oct.)
ESC moved from 3,802 R to 3,741 R (26 Oct.)
Nile TV Int. is back on 3,802 R (26 Oct.)
Ceased channels on Arabsat 1C:
Abu Dhabi TV on 4,033 L
KTS (Kuwait) on 3,978 R
The Israeli channels have moved around on Amos 1,

--- ASIA:
Vijay TV has started on Intelsat 704: 4,168 R
ATVI - Australia TV Int. has a home page at

--- NORTH AMERICA:
HTV - Hispano TV has started on GE 1: 3,800 H (tp 5)
All regular TV channels on Telstar 302 seems to have ceased
All transmissions on Satcom K2 ceased on 27 Oct.
The satellite is moving from 81W to 85W to replace Satcom K1
--- SOUTH AMERICA:
Footprint for DirecTV Latin America package on Galaxy 3R: Ku band
More logotypes also added.
--- LAUNCHES:
Molniya 3-48 was launched on 24 Oct. (non-geostationary satellite!)
JCSAT 4 launch on 31 Jan. (new date)
Tempo 1 launch on 16 Dec. (new date)
Tempo 2 launch on 27 Feb. (new date)
Superbird C will be located at 144 East
