--- EUROPE:
News at 1 West on 13 Nov.:
MTV Europe left Thor: 12,092 R
FilmNet 1 moved from Intelsat 707: 11,133 V to Thor: 12,092 R
BBC Prime replaced FilmNet 1 on Intelsat 707: 11,133 V

Polonia 1 is now also on Eutelsat II f3: 11,080 H (08-15 CET)

TV Norge and VT 4 on Astra have moved from 12,344 H to 11,876 H

Telecom 2D is currently moving from 3 East to 5 West.

SportsChannel New England has moved from
Spacenet 2 to GE 1: 3,980 V (tp 14)

Bravo! Canada has left Anik E2: 11,791 H
NET - National Empowerment TV has left Galaxy 6: 3,840 H (G6-07)
Cable Video Store has left Telstar 402R: 3,840 V (T4-07)

These channels have left Galaxy 4 and are now on GE 1:
WJLA-TV, WRAL-TV and WNBC-TV

Several NBC channels have moved to GE 1: Ku band

Updates on DirecTV Latin American service on Galaxy 3R:
140 RTP Internacional ceased
590 Playboy started
598 CAPT ceased

Satcom K2 has finished its move from 81 West to 85 West,
and is expected to take over from Satcom K1 until GE 2
takes over that location early next year.

TV 5 Latin America on PAS 3R: 3,957 V, MPEG-2

El Canal Federal on Nahuelsat C1: 12,022 V, MPEG-2,

--- LAUNCHES:
Arabsat 2B and Measat 2 were successfully launched with Ariane V92
on 13 November.

Arabsat 2B will replace Arabsat 1C ar 30.5 East. It's identical to
Arabsat 2A with 22 C tps and 12 Ku tps. Arabsat 1C will be relocated
to 20 East, where Arabsat 1DR used to be.

Measat 2 will be located at 148 East and carry 128 digital TV
channels. It has 6 C tps and 8-9 Ku tps.

The launch of Hot Bird 2 with Atlas has been delayed three times
this week! Next chance of launch is on Friday 22 Nov.

PAS 6 was supposed to launch with Ariane on 17 December, but is now
delayed until March/April 1997.
