SATCO DX Satellite Chart - Updates 6-19 January
This is a summary of the last two week's updates to the service.
More details can be found at http://www.satcodx.com/ and even
more in the Daily Update mails (only for regular contributors).
The major story was the loss of Telstar 401 (T1) on 11 January!
All services there have been transferred to other satellites.
Telstar 303 will probably replace Telstar 401 at 97 West until
Telstar 5 is launched, which in turn probably will be located
at 97 West. The cause of the loss is still not known.
--- EUROPE:
Vox has left Kopernikus 3: 11,602 V
Astra:
Playboy TV has left Astra 1C: 11,097 V (tp 42)
Sogecable is now also on Astra 1F: 12,363 V, MPEG-2, new line-up
Eutelsat II f3:
Euro 7 has switched from 11,556 H to 11,080 H
Eurotica has moved from 11,556 H to 11,163 H, 02.10-06.30 CET
ART Europe is now on 11,556 H as well as 11,095 V
Almost all TPS channels at 13 East are now encrypted
Der Kinderkanal has started on Eutelsat II f1: 11,055 H, PAL
Telepiu has left Eutelsat II f1: 12,542 V, plus a
complete update for their package on Hot Bird 1/2
AB Sat promo has started in PAL on Hot Bird 2: 11,766 V
Genc TV on Eutelsat II f2: 12,715 H, MPEG-2
Sportkanalen (Sweden) on Sirius has ceased
Sportkanalen (Denmark) on TV-Sat 2 has ceased
AFRTS on Intelsat 707 has split into several channels
and changed from B-MAC to PowerVu
VH-1 UK has started on Hispasat 1A/1B: 12,456 L, MPEG-2
New line-up for Telefonica package on Hispasat 1A/1B
Tara TV has started on Intelsat 603: 11,158 V, MPEG-2
Med TV has started on Orion 1: 11,605 V, MPEG-2
