IRIB External Service has started on 11,128 V, SECAM.

SuperSport is testing on 11,680 V, PAL.

Kanal A has started on 10,993 H, MPEG-2.

Telepiu has restructured it's package and has a new line-up,
plus new PIDs.

TV 2 (Denmark) has replaced DR 1 on 11,461 H, MPEG-2/clear.
CNN International has replaced NRK To on 11,485 H, D2-MAC.

Sky Entertainment and Fox Kids testing on 11,229 H.
FilmNet 1 Nordic is on both 11,261 H and 11,293 H in D2-MAC.

Andalucia TV has started on 11,643 H, MPEG-2.

Superbird C has reached its final location at 144 East,
and the first test carriers have been observed.

This satellite is now located at 120 Eest.
Thaicom 2 and 3 are still at 78.5 East.

Hallmark has started on 3,940 V, MPEG-2.

Raj TV has started officially on 3,640 V, PAL.
Vijay TV has started officially on 3,615 V, PAL.

ATN - Asia TV Network suddenly left 4,155 H on 15 August,
but came back on 23 August.

CFI - Canal France Int. on 3,766 R has switched to MPEG-2.

Agila 2 was successfully launched with Long March on 19 Aug.,
to be located at 144 East.

Indostar 1 and Sirius 2 are scheduled to launch with
Ariane V101 on 10 October.


=== SATCO DX EMAIL ADDRESS ALIASES:  mailto:chris@satcodx.com
You can now get your own email address alias at satcodx.com!

The addresses will be as "firstname.familyname@satcodx.com".
If you are anonymous or have an existing nick name at SATCO DX,
you can get that name instead if you specifically ask for it.

Any requests about getting your email alias should be sent to
chris@satcodx.com. The price for having an email alias for one
full year is GBP 30, equal to about USD 48.

By having (and using) an SATCO DX email alias when sending
contributions to SATCO DX, your mails will be read and handled
with priority.


=== INTERNAL:
* Moving satellites:
The "moving satellites" are now listed in grey on the chart
indexes, with an indication of which direction they are moving
in. If you click on that direction, you automatically get
SatTracker for these satellites.

* Teletext names: (Javascript)
The teletext names are back on the charts, marked by a red "T".
By holding the mouse over the "T", you can see the name of the
teletext service.

* PIDs now also in decimal: (Javascript)
All PIDs at SATCO DX Satellite Chart are now listed in both
hexadecimal and decimal! The hexadecimal values are shown in
the actual charts and by holding the mouse over the "V" or "A",
you can see the value in decimal on the bottom of your browser.
