- Another blackout on this satellite, today for the Wetter-Kanal. According
Jean-Gerard Hemer, for few hours channel 11.675 Ghz h was showing just a
testcard (with a test-sound signal only). In the last week, I received many
numbers of interruptions on this satellite. (Stefan Hagedorn)

EUTELSAT 2F1, 13.0E
- As predicted, the teletext-service by VIVA ZWEI has ceased on channel
10.972 Ghz h. During the last week it was showing a demonstration to the
multimedia messe "komm 96". VIA ZWEI text will be back 1997. (Stefan Hagedorn)

TV-SAT 2, THOR, INTELSAT 707, 1.0W
- The reason for all the problems on the last saturday for a lot of Nordic
channels on the satellites TV SAT 2, THOR and INTELSAT 707 was a power
blackout for about 15 minutes. That's reported Gunleik Nisi. He called the
earth-station (the uplink station in Norway). (Stefan Hagedorn)

INTELSAT 603, 34.5W
- The director of MED TV, Kizilhan, told the German news-magazine FOCUS, the
channel will be back soon for 24 hours a day. A few test-transmissions from
MED TV on channel 10.972 Ghz v were noted on the afternoon. During the
weekend it wasn't broadcasting on this channel. (Stefan Hagedorn)
