New Hot-Line Satellite Launched
  MOSCOW, Russia, 96/10/25 (TS) -- Russia has launched a new satellite to
carry the famous Moscow-Washington hot line. The Molniya-3 satellite was
launched on Thursday by a Molniya-M rocket from the Plesetsk space center in
the northern Arkhangelsk region.

  In addition to the telephone link, the satellite will also carry various
other traffic including relays of the main ORT television network, regional
TV networks and general telephone communications.
