AlphaStar To Add International Channel
  NEW YORK, New York, USA, 96/12/26 (TS) -- The AlphaStar digital
television service has said it will add the International Channel to its
program line-up from December 31st. The channel provides special event
coverage and original news and entertainment produced in more than 20
languages.

  The International Channel's Christmas Eve broadcast of the Midnight Mass
at the Vatican was carried as part of a taste of what the new channel will
offer. The addition will be available at no extra charge initially, said
AlphaStar, hinting that it may become a premium service in the future.
