Hong Kong Broadcaster Teams With Xinhua
  HONG KONG, 96/12/26 (TS) -- Hong Kong's China Entertainment Broadcast
Television Ltd. (CEBT) is to team up with China's state-run news agency,
Xinhua, to co-produce documentaries. CEBT's programming is already
available via satellite in China and the TV station hopes the new deal will
expand its reach in the country.

  The new joint venture, Xinhua Entertainment Television/Film International
Co., will produce non-political documentaries about China drawing from
Xinhua archives. The documentaries are hoped to be sold around the world.
