Launch Successes And Failures 1996
CAMBRIDGE, MA, USA, 97/01/03 (JSR) -- The following is an annual roundup
of all launches and failures in 1996. It was compiled by Jonathan McDowell
of the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics and carried in a special
edition of his "Space Report" newsletter. Full text of the newsletter is

Launch Vehicles
Launch vehicles are listed by type, in order of number of launches. The
totals are similar to last year, with a dramatic increase in the number of
Deltas and a continuing decline in the Soyuz launch rate.
