New Alliance In Danish Cable Business
  HOOFDDORP, The Netherlands, 97/01/13 (TS) -- Nethold's Danish subsidiary,
MultiChoice Danmark, and the Danish telecom operator, Tele Danmark, have
agreed to jointly work together and promote pay television in the
Scandinavian country. Under the agreement, MultiChoice Danmark will handle
the subscriber management of all existing and future analogue and digital
encrypted services on Tele Danmark cable networks. Tele Danmark, for its
part, will acquire the cable decoders previously owned by MultiChoice and
have the exclusive cable distribution rights to the FilmNet and Hallmark
channels in Denmark.

  For MultiChoice, this means the ability to offer its digital multichannel
service on the Tele Danmark cable networks - some 750,000 subscribers. For
Tele Danmark, this means it will be the only cable company to offer
Nethold's FilmNet 1, FilmNet 2 and SuperSport, as well as to Hallmark
Entertainment Network.

  The agreement does not cover the satellite market.
