VH-1 Launches West Coast Feed
  NEW YORK, New York, USA, 97/11/04 (TS) -- VH1, an advertiser supported,
basic cable service of MTV Networks, has launched its important West Coast
feed to nearly 200 cable affiliates using Scientific-Atlanta's PowerVu(R)
MPEG-2/DVB digital video compression system.  About 2 million subscribers
receive the West Coast feed of VH1's 24-hour programming which features
current and classic videos, original concerts, performance series, live
special events, music movies, music-based news segments, and artist
interviews.
