Hallo Christian,
irgendwo habe ich gelesen, dass IFA-TV ueber Eutelsat 16 Grad abgestrahlt
wird. Allerdings digital und nur mit 180cm empfangbar. Stimmt das?
Ist Dr.Dish irgendwo auf der Messe zu finden?

From somewhere I got the information IFA-TV (International Broadcasting Fair
in Berlin/Germany) is receivable via EUTELSAT IIF3, but digital and a 180cm
dish is needed.
Do we see Dr. Dish at the fair?

Dr.Dish:
IFA-TV laeuft ueber EUTELSAT IIF3 auf 11.671 (NL-Transponder) und ist leider
in MPEG-2 (8.448 Msymb/sec, 3/4, VP: 4021, AP: 4022). Im Moment laeufen dort
Proramm-Trailer und hier wird das Programm mit 120cm steorungfrei empfangen.
Was allerdings der Schwachsinn soll es digital in SCPC abzustrahlen wird
wohl ein Geheimnis bleiben. Niur ein minimaler Prozentatz der Endverbraucher
wird es sehen koennen. Bleibt zu hoffen dass das Programm irgendwo noch
analog zu finden ist.
Nein, Dr.Dish ist nicht auf der IFA, dafuer aber auf der IBC in Amsterdam
vom 13. bis 16. September.
IFA-TV transmitts via EUTELSAT IIF3 on 11.671 digital (8.448 Msymb/sec, 3/4,
VP 4021, AP 4022). At this moment we receive the program (trailers) with a
120cm dish. Itīs a shame to do this in MPEG-2, since only a small minority
can watch and all owners of receivers unable to receive SCPC are also lost.
No, Dr.Dish ist not at the fair, but will be on the IBC in Amsterdam (13-16
of September) Itīs more exiting!
