The yesterday reported blackout on several ART channels & others, inside
the 1stNEt DStv package, had only partly been resolved before midnight.
MCM, M-NET, ART 2, ART 5, LBC and the Showtime Promotional Channel were
for hours not receivable. In the early morning however reception was
restored, exept for the Showtime Promotional Channel of which until now
only a blank screen can be received.

The txpr 14U, 4.120 GHz, V, of Showtime Promotional Channel was switched
of as previously announced. Regular txm had stopped already three days
earlier.

The Sudanese txm on txpr 14, 4.010 GHz, Rc, did not appear again, so it
should be reasonable to assume that txm of Sudan TV has ceased on this
satellite.

GORIZONT 31, 40 East, SATCO-DX: http://www.satcodx.com/g31.html

On NVS txpr 11, 3.925 GHZ, Rc, can the N49 logo be seen, irregular,
prior to NVS txms, presently over a kind of Russian shopping channel.
Sound on 7.00 MHZ.

NVS txms close down at 06:30 CET, prior to that the on-screen logo NNTV
(Kyrillic HHTB) can be observed.

On txpr 6, 3.810 GHz, Lc, previous txm CFI, now appeared since 24 hours
the STAR Sports channel, with a sound carrier in English on 6.60 MHz.

HOT BIRD 2, Test Position 29 East

Hot Bird 2 has arrived at his test position at 29 degrees East. Various,
very powerfull, txpr tests could be observed today, on several
frequencies.Test are even performed at night time.
Please refer to the txpr layout chart in yesterdays report.

Txpr 7, 12.646 GHz, H, (originally reserved by Kuwait TV) was switched
off during the afternoon, but reappeared in the early evening again with
colourbars and a test tone on 6.60 MHz. Which channel wil appear is not
yet knowm.

The, yesterday reported, logo change of Abu Dhabi TV, appeared also on
the txm of EDTV Dubai and Sharjah TV, and identical live txms could be
observed from the early morning onwards on several other Arabic
channels, including the ASBU channel's original txm (Arabsat 1C). Could
it be the Emirates National Day?

Txpr 4L, 11.4676 GHz, V, did not txm the content of Israel's Channel 1,
this was observed for the first time. Instead the whole evening a test
card with a blue band at the extrem left on a black screen and the Text
"IBA CNCT CH1". Txpr 4U, 11.510 GHz, V, txm as usual the contents of
Israel's Channel 2.
